Why does the App need microphone access?

SoundsScope uses your microphone input to estimate ambient decibel levels in real time. Audio is processed on-device and is not uploaded.

Can I save measurements by location?

Yes. You can save readings and tag them with location names for later review and comparison.

How do I improve measurement consistency?

Hold your device steady, avoid covering the microphone, and compare readings from similar distances and environments.
