SoundsScope ("the App") is developed by Christopher Reed. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
The App is built to help measure ambient decibel levels at locations. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data to external servers. Measurements and settings are stored locally on your device.
The App requests microphone access to calculate real-time sound levels. Raw audio is processed on-device and is not recorded, uploaded, or shared with us.
The App may optionally use location services so you can label measurements by place. Location data is processed and stored locally unless you choose to export it.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. We do not track your behavior across apps or websites.
The App does not rely on third-party services that collect your personal information. If the App links to external websites, those websites are governed by their own policies.
Decibel logs, saved locations, and settings are stored on your device and may sync through your personal iCloud account if enabled. We do not have access to this data.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
